No more tent camping for us...we've entered the glamorous world of RV'ing. We purchased this fabulous 26-foot Sierra Komfort travel trailer from one of Kirk's co-workers, and we're looking forward to many happy trips. Our inaugural voyage was to the Olema (affectionately called "Oh-Lame-Uh") Resort Campground near lovely Point Reyes (just north of San Francisco). We enjoyed fresh-baked cookies from the oven, watched videos on the TV, and just hiked up the heater when we got cold at night...at moments I wondered if we could have just stayed home.
Here are the boys on the beach at Point Reyes. It was an amazing day for January: reasonably warm and perfectly still. We chased sand pipers, dug holes, and smashed carefully-crafted sand fire engines.
